Is a beautiful 14 year old young lady. Her mother, Brooke, contacted me a few weeks before Ashlen's 14th birthday for a fun fashion/model portrait session. She told me Ashlen had always dreamed of wanting to become a model. And as you can see, she totally fits the model criteria!

One special perk about choosing me as your photographer, is I have a studio closet full of dresses for client use. Brooke had asked me what I suggested Ashlen could wear for her session with me, and I offered Brooke to bring Ashlen to the studio before her session for a dress consultation. Brooke and Ashlen agreed without hesitation, and a few days later we were picking through the dresses and having Ashlen try on what she liked best. One of the outfits she fell in love with was this white lace boho style dress. It was like it was made specifically for her.

Speaking of dresses made for Ashlen, check out this gold sequins, flowy train gown. This is one of my favorites in my studio closet and I just knew the second I met Ashlen that she absolutely had to wear this dress. I wasn't taking no for an answer, lol. I'm so glad she didn't refuse it because she looks like an absolute queen in it, along with the gorgeous rhinestone crown I brought along to the session as well.

This elegant black gown is one Ashlen brought to the session herself. The fit on her was gorgeous and nonetheless the black was timeless and classic.

We had so much fun throughout Ashlen's session. Ashlen brought along her friend Liberty, and good thing she did because having her mom and her friend there for support was great! They assisted me in more ways than one too! We all had lots of laughs and it was overall a relaxed and fun session. I hope Ashlen looks at these and sees how truly beautiful she is, inside and out. I'm sure her mom looks at these pictures and is overjoyed with the beautiful young women Brooke has become, but yet remembers and misses when Ashlen was the little girl she once was. As a parent myself, I can without a doubt say it's absolutely bitter sweet being able to watch your children grow. Hang in there Brooke. Your beautiful girl has a bright future a head of her. And to Ashlen, thank you for trusting me and for letting me capture these portraits for you. I hope you had so much fun, because I know I did. <3
