I met Kendalyn, her mom and her daddy last year when her mommy contacted me to photograph her first birthday cake smash session. I had so much fun photographing her cake smash first birthday session last year, so I was beyond excited to receive a message from her mom the other week wanting to book her a two year portrait session. I spoke with her mom about what she envisioned for her session, and we were happy to keep it pretty simple this time and let Kendalyn shine. When I say shine, boy do I mean she shines! She shines with adventure, curiosity, and an impressive vocabulary and a larger than life personality! She knew what she wanted and there was no one stopping her. I quickly became Kendalyn's personal paparazzi and I wasn't going to complain. This is her. This is what kids do, and I loved being able to capture this fun and energetic phase in her life.
